Hey guys! I just uploaded my first video on my IGTV channel. DIY pattern weights! This is a video that I filmed a couple years ago but never uploaded because I didn’t think anyone would be interested. Mostly because they are just so simple to make and I thought it would be a meh project to share. That’s me always second guessing myself 🙄. But! I’ve gotten messages about them, so now here’s the video. These pattern weights have been a game changer for me. No more using cans 😄! Go check it out and tag me if you make some of your own. Enjoy!
Kicking off the new year with the super pretty #adrienneblouse by @fridaypatterncompany . I haven’t sewn anything in a while, so I thought I’d start with a quick but satisfying project. The only thing that’s 😏 is that I wish my fabric was a little bit more opaque. Oh well...we shall see. Also, I don’t think I have any elastic 🤔, so I might have to run over to the fabric shop later (Birdbox challenge style so I don’t buy anything else). Wish me luck! 😊 What’s your first sewing project of 2019?
Had to take a photo of my sewing table before it gets messy again in about 5 minutes. Can you relate? Are you a tidy sewist or the thread clippings everywhere and fabric scraps left on the cutting table type? I usually get on a roll and forget to clean up as I go. I'm trying to get better guys. Casual Friday wearing another @grainlinestudio #mossskirt ! I love this pattern so much guys, so much so that I recently ordered true black denim from @blackbirdfabrics to make my third one. It’s a silhouette that will never go out of trend, so I may make it in every color denim I get my hands on. This white @robertkaufman denim one from @fabricdotcom was my first. I shoulda sized down tbh, but ya know, I think it still turned out cute and wearable. I’ll be assembling my pdf #persephonepants pattern tonight (💃🏻!!!). Whoa! Party girl over here 😜!
